FAQ: How much will the project cost?
It has initially been estimated that Saving Scotland’s Red Squirrels (SSRS) will cost an estimated £1,160,666 over three years.
Project partners Scottish Natural Heritage has already pledged £524,984 over 3 years to the project, and Forestry Commission Scotland a further £21,000. Lead partner, Scottish Wildlife Trust (SWT) has lead the fundraising for the remaining £614,682, and is currently working to secure the outstanding £103,000. SWT is a charity organisation working to advance the conservation of Scotland’s wildlife for the benefit of present and future generations. We need your help to save Scotland’s red squirrel.
