Haddo House

Haddo House (National Trust for Scotland and Aberdeenshire Council) near Tarves (NJ867349) - Haddo is signed from the B999 at the turnoff just before the village of Tarves.

The large grounds of Haddo boast a large variety of trees, including beech, horse chestnut, and lime, and also contain many different species of wildlife. Red squirrels and chaffinches can be found in the treetops, ducks swans and geese occupy the many lakes and ponds while hedgehogs, rabbits and a large variety of insects inhabit the forest floor.
